The Sorcerer Knight Update Thirteen: COLOURED PAGES 3 AND 4 + NEWS

Hey everyone it's time for another monthly update and I have quite a bit to share. A lot's been going on and it's mostly good news. Starting with the best news, I'm excited to announce that PRODUCTION OF THE COMIC HAS RESUMED!

Once I completed my script reworks I reached out to my team of artists and they're working hard on creating the best pages possible. Currently pages 9 and 10 are being drawn which are quite action heavy. My plan for showing the pages here is to show all the ones that will be used in the preview.

The Kickstarter planning and organizing is mostly done. I've worked out what the target goal will be and shipping costs with the help of fellow creators. But before it's ready to launch I'm waiting for one thing in particular. I'm working with a small animation team who I've hired to create a trailer for the comic. The idea behind it is quite ambitious so there's been some difficulties when trying to get this to work.

I'll provide more details in the future but the idea is that it'll be roughly a 40 second trailer with animated action scenes from the comic. The bad news is that I have no idea when this trailer will be done. So it'll take the Kickstarter even longer than I hoped to be ready for launch. But in the long run if everything works out as intended this trailer will help the project gain traction and get everyone hyped and invested in the story. Which would be worth waiting a bit longer.

What I've been doing since I finished my script rewrites is FINALLY making my portfolio website work using mobile, planning out my future as a writer and writing A LOT of new stories. I've mentioned in past updates that the mobile version of the site needed some work done to it, well I stopped being lazy and it's now available for use! Honestly it was way easier than I expected and I really should have done it months ago. But better late than never so now it will be more convenient for you all to access my site.

Since the last update ideas have been flowing through my brain non stop so I've been working on comics I'm planning on creating after The Sorcerer Knight is finished. These are new ideas unrelated to The Sorcerer Knight. Currently I have written two completed one shot stories and I'm currently writing three more. I won't be revealing what they are yet. A lot of these projects are in early development and anyone who's a writer knows how quickly an idea can change or shelved but I plan on writing scripts for the ideas that I'm fully committed to working on.

I will reveal though that they're different genres from The Sorcerer Knight because my plan in this beginning phase of my writing journey is to gain experience writing stories for the genres I'm most interested in. When the time is right I will give a detailed update on my plans once The Sorcerer Knight is fully complete but until then I'll be dropping vague information on what I'm working on.

But enough about the future because right now I have some pages from The Sorcerer Knight to share. These pages are the introduction to the villain of the story Blitz. Which if you've been keeping up with the updates you know all about him. The lettering is complete but I will show off the final versions of the pages when I release the preview. I love how these pages turned out and the completed versions look even better.
